BankRec Clear

The BankRec Clear enhancement is a seamlessly integrated add-on to the standard MAS 90 or MAS 200 Bank Reconciliation module. It greatly reduces the amount of time required to complete the bank reconciliation process by providing a quick, easy, and efficient way to reconcile your bank. This enhancement uses an ASCII file of cleared transactions from your bank to mark transactions as being "cleared" within the Bank Reconciliation module. After installing the enhancement, there will be three additional options added to your standard Bank Reconciliation main menu: BankRec Clear, BankRec Clear Error Log and BankRec Clear File Setup.

Exceptions and errors during the import are logged and reported on by the system. The BankRec Clear Error Log Report reports the following exceptions:

• Invalid check numbers
• Non-matching transaction amounts
• Already cleared transactions

The layout of the bank ASCII file is mapped using the BankRec Clear File Setup option. Also under the BankRec Clear File Setup option you establish the import file type, delimiter, date masks, etc.
