Programmers
are required to create enhancements to boxed Accounting software
to the specifications of the customer. They may also be involved
in performing onsite implementations, customer needs assessments,
and customer training for multiple, concurrent projects. Programmers
participate in the analysis, design, testing and training
of M&A’s product solutions with client project staff.
The following are the key qualities all Programmers are required
to have - proactive & regular communications, strong customer
orientation, listening, initiative, integrity, & problem
solving.
The following
are essential knowledge and capability criteria for all Consultants:
- 1+
years of programming experience preferred
- Experience
in one or more of the following software is highly desirable:
.NET, Visual Basic, Transact-SQL or Providex
- Strong
project management attributes that produce high quality
solutions
- Intermediate
knowledge of MS Office products and MS Project
- MS
SQL Server database experience a plus
- Knowledge
of networking and operating systems
- Bachelors
degree in Systems Analysis or Computer Science
